The Hiking Route
Al Badhan Valley and the Palestinian community invite you to stroll through the beautifully carved landscape of Al Badhan Valley Known for its diverse array of landscapes and high biodiversity.Observe vast open plains, green sweeping valleys and high wooded cliffs.
This hiking trail highlights Palestine’s rich culture as you see working farms, merchant stall keepers, and historical sites. AL Badhan is located 7.28km from Nablus city which is solely in area A of Palestine. The area is currently being re-generated by the Mediterranean Tourism-Heritage and Landscapes Protection Clusters (HELAND) project which ARIJ is one of ten partners from six countries.
HELAND aims to bring awareness to Palestine’s rich cultural attractions and introduce locals and visitors to Al Badhan’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. Al Badhan Valley is just one of many places in Palestine where you can see firsthand the harmony between history, nature, and the Palestinian people.
